HOPE for Warriors
ROH is proud to serve all military personnel in our community with free mental health services through HOPE for Warriors.
Fostering HOPE for Youth
ROH’s target youth populations include those who are 3-18 years of age, grappling with life’s challenges, and/or exhibit emotional or behavioral distress.
Individuals/ Couples/Groups
Life can be challenge, and many people find themselves struggling with self-confidence, anxiety, depression, and other life obstacles that interfere with having the life they want. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is a powerful, compassionate, and effective model focused on finding solutions.
If you do not qualify for one of our no-cost programs we are available for private pay.
Treatment Centers
For treatment centers that are seeking services for their clients, our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program, for mental health and substance abuse recovery is specifically designed to help clients integrate the tools they are learning in treatment through experiential learning and psychotherapy.
Because horses are completely authentic and non-judgmental, individuals in recovery are able to quickly develop a trusting relationship, increasing their ability to learn and change.
The feedback from the equines combined with skilled intervention from our psychotherapists helps clients overcome trauma, distinguish between healthy and harmful behaviors, and learn positive ways to express and assert themselves.
